CORRIGENDUM
F.No.3/2/2015-P&P-II : Candidates may refer to the Notice of the Recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination 2015 published in the Employment News /Rozgar Samachar dated 28-3-2015. The following amendment under the para 8 of the notice i.e. Scheme of Examination is made:


FOR -Paper-II (Date of Examination 21-06-2015 (AN))
READ-Paper-II(Date of Examination will be notified later)


Paper-I only will be held on 21-06-2015 , if necessary, in two shifts from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM depending upon the number of candidates.
Other contents of the notice will remain unchanged.

On-line application will be available as below:-

Part-I Registration: Up to 5.00 PM on 26-04-2015 
Part-II Registration: Up to 5.00 PM on 28-04-2015 
 

NOTE:- PAPER I & PAPER II ARE CONDUCTED ON SAME DAY.

Candidates will not be allowed to change/revise the preference subsequently. Therefore, they
are advised to indicate the preference of the posts carefully.

NOTE – I: The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different minimum qualifying standards in each part of Paper I taking into consideration among others, category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates. Only those candidates, who have scored above the cut off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper I would be required to appear in the Physical Endurance Test/Medical examination.

NOTE- II: Only those candidates who secure qualifying marks in Paper I of the written examination, as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, will be shortlisted for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ PST and medical test. Paper-II of shortlisted candidates who
qualify in PST/PET will only be evaluated. Candidates will be called for Interview based
on their combined performance in Paper-I and Paper-II.



Physical Efficiency(Endurance) Test(PET) ( For all posts)
For male candidates only
a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds
b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
d) High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances

For female candidates only
a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
d) High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.
Physical Endurance Test Will NOT CARRY ANY MARKS BUT WILL BE OF
QUALIFYING/ELIMINATION NATURE.

Medical standard (For all posts)
Eye sight:
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e.without wearing
of glasses.
1) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess
high colour vision.
2) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- ANY BACHELOR’S  DEGREE  FROM  A RECOGNISED 
 UNIVERSITY OR  EQUIVALENT
   AGE LIMITS for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years.
1     The crucial date for age-limit is reckoned with reference to 01-01-2015 

     Candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the educational qualification as  on  01-01-2015  will not be eligible and need not apply
